The Guide toSan Francisco Pride
In the city that practically invented gay, we're excited to get back to the fun of celebrating San Francisco Pride.
When it comes to Pride celebrations, nobody does it quite like San Francisco. For its 54th year, under the banner of "Beacon of Love," this year's Pride celebration showcases how we can continue sharing our story of love and be a beacon for the rest of the world.
Come be yourself in our 49 square miles to experience the loud, raucous, irreverent, and true celebration of love, equality, and expression. San Francisco will be decked out in rainbow-colored hues from head to toe.

Drag Me Downtown
Mark your calendars for Drag Me Downtown, a series of fierce pop-up drag shows each Thursday in June from 5 to 7 p.m. Featuring new performers at a new venue each week. This sequin-studded series will help support our favorite local businesses while also serving as a fabulous reminder that all are welcome in downtown San Francisco!
Drag Me Downtown is free to attend; however, pre-registered is encouraged and will score you free swag! All pre-registration proceeds benefit Trans Thrive, a trans-centric nonprofit that aims to create safe spaces, events, and services for the entire trans/GNC community.
Pink Triangle
In a reclamation of the symbol once used to shame the gay community, San Francisco illuminates a massive pink triangle atop Twin Peaks each year. The tradition began in 1996 and has served as a reminder of a painful past and a hopeful future. You can catch this nightly beacon of love, hope, and resilience each night through Pride.
